Young Researcher Prize This prize is awarded to a young researcher (35 years old or younger), holding a PhD, and participating in JCA2026. The winner will be selected based on an application submitted to the Organizing Committee (jca2026@sciencesconf.org or yaoundejca2026@gmail.com) no later than August 1st, 2026,. This application must include the following documents: 2- Detailed CV including a complete list of scientific publications (including updated Impact Factors of journals). Also include prizes and awards, as well as any other relevant positions. 3- Copies of the candidate's two most significant articles 4- One letter of support. This letter should be sent (not by the applicant) directly to the Organizing Committee at jca2026@sciencesconf.org or yaoundejca2026@gmail.com, no later than August 1st, 2026.. Documents 1, 2, and 3 must be combined into a single PDF file and sent to jca2026@sciencesconf.org or yaoundejca2026@gmail.com, no later than August 1st, 2026.
Special Prize for Young Researcher in Electrochemistry This prize is awarded to a young researcher (35 years old or younger), holding a PhD in any field of electrochemistry, and participating in JCA2026. Travel Grants The Organizing Committee will offer three (03) grants to support the travel expenses of JCA participants living in Cameroon but outside the city of Yaoundé. To address the specific challenges faced by young women in research, gender balance will be maintained in the allocation of these grants. The eligibility criteria are as follows: - Candidates must not have defended their PhD thesis before the start of JCA2026 - Being enrolled in a research program at a Cameroonian university other than the University of Yaoundé I, hosting the conference. The application file must include the following documents: 2- Detailed CV including a complete list of scientific publications (including updated Impact Factors of journals). Also include prizes and awards, as well as any other relevant positions. 3- One letter of support. This letter should be sent (not by the applicant) directly to the Organizing Committee at jca2026@sciencesconf.org or yaoundejca2026@gmail.com, no later than August 1st, 2026. Best Poster prizes The Organizing Committee will offer four (04) prizes for the best poster (one prize per theme). A first selection will be made before the start of the JCA2026 based on the posters submitted by the applicants for the prize. The following criteria will be considered during the jury's evaluation: - Candidates must not have defended their PhD thesis before the start of JCA2026. - Adherence to the poster format (see the poster template). - Clarity and relevance of the information presented on the poster. - Originality of the work produced. - Visual quality. - Quality of the presentation of the poster during the exhibition. The application file includes the following documents: 2- Poster submitted for the prize (PDF format) Note: the two documents must be sent to jca2026@sciencesconf.org or yaoundejca2026@gmail.com, before August 15th, 2026.
Best Oral Presentation The Organizing Committee will award four (04) prizes for the best oral presentations (one prize per theme). The following criteria will be considered by the jury during evaluation: - Candidates must not have defended their PhD thesis before the start of JCA2026. - Presentation file must adhere to the correct format (see the presentation template on the website). - Clarity and relevance of the information presented. - Originality of the work presented. - Visual quality and presentation quality (eloquence, dynamism, etc.). - Quality of interaction with the audience. |
